President's Message

A Time to Celebrate New Members and A Time to Reflect of the Responsibility of Membership

The Month of August is when Rotary International puts an emphasis on Membership. It is a time to "celebrate" our new members as well as "reflect on the responsibilities of membership". As I write this month's President's Address, we are welcoming in our newest member, David Sanchez. New members help to add to the vitality and diversity of the club. By adding new members we all grow, not only in numbers, but in learning from these new members. We grow to the point where we "bloom" in ways we never thought possible. Today we have over 60 members; and I am proud to say that every member brings there own passion for service. With this passion for service they bring their own ideas on how we as a club can be more effective; and make a difference in the world we live in.

?When we "reflect on the responsibilities of membership" we often think of being an active participant in the club; and that is certainly very important. But this month, I want to challenge our membership in a different way. I would like to challenge each member of Rotary eClub One to recommend ONE new person for membership in the club.
